From Brokenness to Redemption

Good News That Changes Everything

CREATED FOR GOOD

In the beginning, God created a world filled with beauty, peace, and purpose—and He made humanity in His image. We were designed to walk closely with Him, to live in harmony with one another, and to reflect His goodness in the world.

Genesis 1:26–27
Genesis 1:31

BROKEN BY SIN

Humanity turned away from God, and sin entered the world—breaking the relationship we were created to have with Him. It brought separation, pain, and death, both physical and spiritual.

We all feel this brokenness, and we cannot fix it on our own.

Romans 3:23
Romans 6:23a

GOD’S PLAN TO RESTORE

God did not leave us in our brokenness. From the beginning, He had a plan to rescue and redeem us through Jesus—who lived the perfect life we couldn’t, died in our place, and rose again to bring us new life.

Romans 5:8
John 3:16

How to Begin a Relationship with Jesus

Following Jesus isn’t about religion or getting your life together first—it’s about saying yes to a relationship with the God who loves you.

Here’s how you can take that step:

Recognize

We were created to walk closely with God, but sin has broken that relationship. No matter how good we try to be, we all fall short. Recognizing our sin is the first step toward receiving His grace.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23
“There is no one righteous, not even one.” — Romans 3:10

Turn Away from Sin and Turn Toward God
Repentance is more than feeling sorry—it’s choosing to turn from sin and toward God. It’s a surrender of control and a step toward the life He offers.

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out…” — Acts 3:19
“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance.” — Matthew 3:8

Believe That Jesus Is Our Savior and Lord
Jesus is the Son of God who lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again. Believing in Him means trusting that He alone saves—and choosing to follow Him as Lord.

“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” — Romans 10:9
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” — John 14:6

Receive His Forgiveness, Grace, and New Life
God offers forgiveness not because we’ve earned it, but because Jesus has already paid the price. Through faith, we are made new—washed clean, filled with hope, and welcomed into His family.

“If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.” — Ephesians 1:7

Follow Him Daily in Relationship, Purpose, and Hope
Following Jesus isn’t a one-time decision—it’s a daily walk. He invites us into a life of purpose, growth, and joy as we deepen our relationship with Him and live out His mission.

“Whoever wants to be My disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow Me.” — Luke 9:23
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” — John 10:10

Ready to Follow Him?

Whether you’ve wandered far or are hearing this for the first time—God is ready to welcome you home. If you’re ready to begin a relationship with Jesus, you can pray this simple prayer:

Jesus, I need You. I confess my sin and turn to You. I believe You died for me and rose again. Forgive me, fill me with Your Spirit, and lead me into the life You have for me. I give You my heart and my future. Amen.
